KIPP King Lions retain their title and are the 2024 Girls Volleyball Division A Champions.

KIPP King Girls Volleyball–defending champions from 2023–retain their title in 2024 in a thrilling 5 set match (3-2) against Griffin Academy.  The Lions made a comeback taking the first set 25-23. An equally intense Set 2 went the way of Griffin 25-23. The teams split sets 3 (KIPP 25-15)  and 4 (Griffin 25-21). The Lions played a strong fifth set, 15-11, to be crowned the 2024 Champions. (Score: 25-23, 23-25, 25-15, 21- 25, 15-11)

Junior and team captain Lucy Chen (S) was selected as the Championship MVP (pictured below).

KIPP closed out a strong season, going undefeated in league play and 17-2 in overall play this season.

The Griffin Academy team competed in Division A for the first time, and are the 2023 Division B Champions.

The Division A championship match took place on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Ira Jenkins Community Center.
