KIPP King Lions are the 2024 Oakland Section Champions!

The KIPP King Boys Volleyball team are the newly crowned 2024 Oakland Section Champions. The Lions defeated the Oakland High Wildcats 3-1 (25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 25-17) to take the title.

This is both a historic first for the school and the BACSAC boys volleyball program. Congratulations to the team and coaching staff–Mario Zancanaro and Alana Chung (Athletic Director).

The team will go on to represent the Oakland Section in the Division IV 2024 CIF NorCal Boys Volleyball Championships as the 7 seed.
